I hate you.
With hostility
that erodes
My Christian values
Each day I seek
a quality that
would redeems you,
but I meet failure.
I search for warmth
You possess none.
Just your chill and iciness
mixed with threats.
I'm tired of your
demanding chores.
I don't want to do
them any more.
Where is your warmth?
Do you have any?
You were born
to be cold and harsh.
I wish you away
Far from me.
But you’re here
Winter.

I couldn't have said it better....I'm waiting for spring...
Beautiful....though I agree with you 100%, even though winter is usually my favorite season. I think it was the fact there was no way to leave my house for about a week during this season too. Though doesn't the slight torment of waiting make it all that more exciting when winter is finally gone?
Very eloquent.
I normally don't mind winter, but I'm with perfectlyunnormal, it's been TOO cold so we can't even go sledding or cross-country ski. But the hints of spring are just around the corner. You've also inspired me! Maybe I'll try to write a Haiku today. ;)
